Duties & Responsibilities- Install and wire emergency lighting systems, sirens, push bumpers, and other specialized law enforcement equipment in vehicles.
- Integrate police vehicle consoles, computer docks, printers, prisoner partitions, K-9 kennels, and other relevant installations.
- Install and configure mobile radios, antennas, in-car camera systems, and license plate reader technology for seamless communication and monitoring.
- Conduct vehicle electrical work, including wiring, grounding, power distribution, relay installation, and ignition connections.
- Support ongoing fleet maintenance and vehicle preparation activities as assigned to ensure operational readiness.
- Follow wiring diagrams, technical documentation, and installation instructions with accuracy and attention to detail.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of one year of experience in automotive, fleet, electrical, electronics installation, or closely related technical work.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical wiring essential for vehicle upfitting projects.
- Strong ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, installation manuals, and technical documents.
- Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds as needed during installations.
