Emergency Room RN - Summary- Provide urgent, evidence-based care for patients presenting with acute and critical conditions in the emergency department
- Utilize advanced clinical skills to assess, triage, and stabilize patients
- Function as a key team member, collaborating with physicians, LPNs, and PCAs
- Maintain composure and deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Perform rapid triage and comprehensive secondary assessments for patients with acute illnesses or traumatic injuries
- Administer emergency medications and assist with advanced clinical procedures
- Lead and coordinate care delivery among interdisciplinary staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Manage stabilization and continuous monitoring for critically ill patients
- Maintain clinical excellence during high-volume surges and crisis situations
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with hospital protocols
- Participate in ongoing education and training to remain current with best practices in emergency nursing

- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience in an emergency room or acute care setting
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA approved)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification (AHA approved)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification (AHA approved)
- Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
