As an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a critical role in providing emergency care to patients across all age groups and backgrounds. Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Summary- Deliver acute care nursing services to emergency, urgent, and non-urgent patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilize advanced clinical judgment to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a diverse patient demographic, including newborns, children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly.
- Support a multi-disciplinary healthcare team focused on best patient outcomes.
- Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care for patients presenting with varying degrees of illness or injury, including level 1 (emergency), level 2 (urgent), and levels 3-5 (non-urgent) cases.
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient responses to treatment for individuals of all ages and backgrounds, including those with disabilities and language barriers.
- Administer medications safely, with knowledge of pharmacological agents, their indications, side effects, and complications, including dosage calculation and documentation.
- Take full responsibility for assigned patients and support staff during shifts.
- Delegate tasks effectively, direct emergency room and specialty technicians, and provide guidance, education, and counseling to patients and their families.
- Recognize and respond to medical emergencies, assisting with advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and other critical interventions as needed.
- Utilize critical thinking to synthesize clinical data from multiple sources and make informed care decisions.
- Operate, monitor, and maintain specialized medical equipment, including IV pumps, cardiac monitors, EKG units, oxygen analyzers, and nebulizers.
- Ensure proper cleaning, storage, and preventive maintenance of all equipment at the end of each shift.
- Promote a professional environment through leadership, teamwork, and cross-training with other units.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience, including at least one year in an emergency room setting within the past three years.
- US Citizenship required.
- Demonstrates excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills in high-pressure situations.
