Safety training such as BVP (MAB) is mandatory, and additional certifications such as NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and current COVID-19 vaccination or boosters are highly valued. The ER RN must consistently uphold all patient privacy standards as required by HIPAA and maintain a strong commitment to confidentiality in all aspects of patient care.
