A minimum of one year of recent clinical experience in an emergency room setting is necessary to ensure preparedness for the demands of this role.

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Summary- Provide direct patient care in a 20-bed emergency department
- Rapidly assess, triage, and treat patients with acute illnesses and traumatic injuries
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain high standards of clinical excellence in a fast-paced environment
- Perform rapid triage and secondary assessments for all patients presenting to the emergency department
- Administer emergency medications and assist with advanced life-saving procedures
- Lead and coordinate care delivery within a tiered staffing model, working closely with LPNs and PCAs
- Effectively manage patient flow and prioritize care based on acuity
- Respond proactively to high-volume periods and surges, maintaining composure and clinical judgment
