Duties & Responsibilities

- Initiate and monitor intravenous therapy, manage wounds, and provide advanced life support interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with emergency department physicians, specialists, and support staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, including recognizing and managing life-threatening emergencies.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, emergency simulations, and continuing education to maintain current knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to infection control protocols, safety standards, and organizational policies to protect patients, staff, and visitors.
- Perform triage duties, prioritize incoming patients, and ensure timely care delivery in collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred or required based on patient population.
- Experience in emergency nursing or acute care preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations in emergency settings may be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a high-acuity environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to rapidly changing situations.
