Emergency Room Nurse (RN, ER Nurse) - Summary
- Provides rapid assessment and care for patients with acute illnesses and traumatic injuries

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform efficient triage and thorough secondary assessments for patients entering the emergency department
- Administer emergency medications and support advanced procedures as required
- Lead and coordinate care delivery within a tiered staffing model, collaborating with LPNs and PCAs to enhance patient flow
- Manage stabilization for critically ill or injured patients, ensuring all life-saving interventions are performed promptly and accurately
- Maintain composure and clinical excellence during periods of high patient volume or emergency department surges
- Communicate effectively with physicians, team members, patients, and families to ensure clear understanding of care plans and interventions
- Follow established clinical protocols and comply with all regulatory and safety standards

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year of recent clinical experience in an Emergency Room setting
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
