Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO), Locum Tenens - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Independently manage patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans
- Stabilize and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening conditions
- Work effectively during 12- or 24-hour shifts, adapting to varying patient volumes
- Utilize open ICU resources with no on-call obligations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for all patient interactions and treatments
- Adhere to all clinical protocols and safety standards

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current board certification in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine (MD/DO)
- Active Illinois medical license required
- Valid Illinois-controlled substance license and DEA registration with Illinois address
- Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS (Merit Badges required)
- Evidence of CME completed within the past 2 years
- Copies of all relevant diplomas and training certifications
- Valid driver’s license
- ABPS not accepted
