Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO), Locum Tenens - Summary- Provide emergency medical care as a board-certified physician (MD/DO) in a high-functioning emergency department
- Work on a locum tenens, full-time, onsite basis
- Flexible shift options include 12- or 24-hour blocks
- Support a patient volume of approximately 7,100 annual visits
- Contribute to a collaborative and independent clinical environment
- Deliver high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Independently manage patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans
- Stabilize and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening conditions
- Work effectively during 12- or 24-hour shifts, adapting to varying patient volumes
- Utilize open ICU resources with no on-call obligations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for all patient interactions and treatments
- Adhere to all clinical protocols and safety standards
- Competitive hourly rate of $275

- Active Illinois medical license required
- Valid Illinois-controlled substance license and DEA registration with Illinois address

- Evidence of CME completed within the past 2 years
- Copies of all relevant diplomas and training certifications
- Valid driver’s license
- ABPS not accepted
- Demonstrates strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently

- Efficient, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of patient care
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Facility operates 24-hour physician shifts (8am-8pm, 8pm-8am, or 24-hour blocks)
