The Emergency Medicine Physician (ER Doctor, MD/DO) will join a collaborative emergency medical team, serving approximately 37,000 to 40,000 patient visits annually. The physician will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered emergency care and for stabilizing acute trauma cases before transferring patients to a tertiary facility. Emergency Medicine Physician (ER Doctor, MD/DO) - Summary
- Provide expert emergency medical care in a 150-bed, Level III Trauma Center.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients presenting with a wide range of emergency medical conditions.
- Stabilize acute trauma cases and coordinate patient transfers to tertiary care facilities as needed.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document all patient interactions, diagnoses, treatments, and clinical decisions in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Respond promptly to all emergency codes and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in emergency medicine.
- Support the center’s mission to provide timely, compassionate, and effective care to all patients.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice medicine.
- Active Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification.
- Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Demonstrated experience in emergency medicine, ideally within a trauma center environment.
- Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to a varied patient caseload.
