Board certification is required for this position. Physicians with certification from the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), or those certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) with at least two years of emergency department experience, are encouraged to apply. An active North Carolina medical license, DEA registration (or willingness to transfer), and current ACLS and PALS certifications are mandatory requirements.
