The Emergency Department serves approximately 47,000 annual visits and is equipped with a radiology suite, portable ultrasound machines, and a 24/7 interventional cath lab. The hospitalist team manages admissions, allowing EM Physicians to focus on acute care. Additional advantages include cross-credentialing at partner hospitals, access to the Epic EMR, and a modern ED facility that opened in 2017. Providers are not responsible for floor codes, and the department maintains a transfer rate of only 1.52%.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality emergency medical care to a diverse patient population
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including hospitalists and specialists
- Utilize advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, including portable ultrasound and in-ED radiology suite
- Adhere to clinical protocols and best practices for stroke and cardiac emergencies
- Document patient care thoroughly using Epic EMR
- Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development activities
- Engage in cross-credentialing opportunities within the healthcare network
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and ethical standards
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive hourly compensation: $220/hr (W2), $260/hr (1099)
- Generous sign-on bonus: $100,000
- Annual CME/BEA stipend: $4,000 (tax-free)

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree with successful completion of an Emergency Medicine residency
- Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
- Current, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) in New York State
- Proficiency in using EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in emergency care
