The ED handles approximately 35,000 annual visits, features 21 beds, and maintains an 18% admission rate, ensuring a dynamic and varied clinical experience. The facility utilizes the Epic EMR system and has onsite specialty support, including Hospitalist, Surgery, Orthopedics, Critical Care, and Urology services. Employment models include both W-2 and 1099 options, and the organization is committed to supporting physicians requiring J-1 Visa sponsorship or H1B Cap Exempt status.

Emergency Medicine Physician (EM Physician) - Summary
- Permanent, full-time role within a well-supported, community-based Level III Trauma Center and Certified Primary Stroke Center

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide range of emergency medical conditions
- Stabilize and manage trauma, stroke, and acute cases in accordance with Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center protocols
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including hospitalists, surgeons, orthopedic specialists, critical care, and urologists to optimize patient outcomes
- Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters
- Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
- Respond rapidly and effectively to emergencies, ensuring patient safety and high standards of care at all times
- Supervise and mentor new graduates and residents as appropriate
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and best practices
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive base compensation: $250/hr (W2) or $290/hr (1099)
- Sign-on bonus up to $90,000
- $4,000 annually for CME/BEA, tax-free
- New graduate package: $6,500 plus licensing (state & DEA) in the first year

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Emergency Medicine
- Current, unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure
- Eligible for J-1 Visa sponsorship or H1B Cap Exempt status, if applicable
- Demonstrated clinical excellence in emergency medicine care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with Epic EMR is a plus
