Emergency Medicine Physician (EM Physician) - Summary- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered emergency medical care to individuals presenting with acute conditions or injuries.
- Work as part of a collaborative team in a low- to moderate-volume emergency department.
- Flexible schedule with 12-hour shifts (8AM - 8PM) and no on-call or telehealth requirements.
- Support patients and families by providing clear communication, timely treatment, and compassionate care.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of emergency medical conditions and traumas.
- Stabilize patients and initiate appropriate life-saving interventions as needed.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory studies and imaging, to develop treatment plans.
- Coordinate care with nursing staff, specialists, and ancillary services to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and care plans.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and maintain compliance with hospital policies and protocols.
