Candidates for the Emergency Medicine Physician (EM Physician) position must be board certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM), Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine and must have completed an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency program. An active Mississippi medical license and MS DEA certification are required. Recent active clinical practice within the past 12 months is preferred, with exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis by the Professional Evaluation Committee (PEC) and Medical Executive Committee (MEC).
In this role, the Emergency Medicine Physician (EM Physician) will provide high-quality care, maintain accurate medical records, and collaborate closely with nursing and ancillary staff to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal outcomes.
