The Emergency Medicine Physician (EM Physician) will be responsible for delivering high-quality emergency medical care in a fast-paced setting with an annual patient volume of approximately 17,400. You will work closely with other clinicians and support staff to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute conditions. This role requires a strong foundation in emergency medicine, excellent clinical judgment, and a commitment to patient-centered care. To be considered for this Emergency Medicine Physician (EM Physician) position, candidates must have completed a three-year residency or a one-year postgraduate year (PGY) and be board certified. Board certification is not mandatory but is accepted in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine. Third-year residents are encouraged to apply, with two years of case logs preferred but not strictly required. Candidates must possess current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications and hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Proof of immunizations and a recent PPD (two-step or Quantiferon Gold) within 30 days of starting are required. Additionally, all applicants must successfully complete a criminal background check prior to orientation.
This Emergency Medicine Physician (EM Physician) opportunity in Grenada, Mississippi, is available for a minimum commitment of eight shifts per month, starting August 25, 2025, with ongoing assignment options.
