Emergency Medicine Physician (EM Physician) - Summary- Onsite, full-time locums opportunity with 12-hour shifts
- Emergency Department with approximately 19,000 annual visits
- Collaborative clinical environment with physician and NP/PA team
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided
- No on-call responsibilities
- Streamlined credentialing process
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of acute medical conditions and traumatic injuries in the Emergency Department
- Work collaboratively with other physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants to deliver high-quality patient care
- Utilize the EPIC EMR system for charting, documentation, and communication
- Provide patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and follow-up care
- Participate in shift-based coverage with 24-hour physician coverage via 12-hour shifts
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and compliance with all applicable regulations

- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification or board eligibility in Emergency Medicine
- Active, unrestricted medical license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications preferred

- Proficiency in using EMR systems, preferably EPIC
- Demonstrates excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
