Shifts are structured as 12-hour rotations (7 AM–7 PM or 7 PM–7 AM), providing flexibility and a balanced schedule for full-time locum tenens professionals. The position requires no on-call responsibilities and includes covered travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance, ensuring a seamless assignment experience. Credentialing is completed within approximately 60 days, enabling a smooth onboarding process for new Emergency Medicine Physicians (EM Physicians).
To qualify for this role, candidates must hold an active Louisiana medical license and be residency trained in Emergency Medicine (EM), Internal Medicine (IM), or Family Medicine (FM) with prior emergency medicine experience. Board-eligible or board-certified physicians are preferred, and experience in high-acuity settings is highly valued.
