Emergency Medicine Physician (EM Physician) - Summary- Permanent onsite position in a community-focused emergency department
- Approximately 11,000 annual patient visits
- 12-hour shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a) providing stable work hours
- Reliable Epic EMR system for efficient documentation and workflow
- Supportive team environment with consistent coverage
- Provide immediate medical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
- Stabilize patients and coordinate care with specialists, nursing staff, and ancillary services
- Document all patient encounters accurately and promptly using the Epic EMR system
- Collaborate with the emergency department team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care
- Participate in ongoing clinical education and professional development activities
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Adhere to hospital policies, clinical protocols, and regulatory requirements
- Competitive compensation at $195/hr (1099 independent contractor model)

- Work in a community-centered emergency department with manageable volume

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Family Practice or Internal Medicine physicians considered with at least 2 years of recent emergency department experience
- Active Texas medical license preferred
- Strong clinical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Passionate about providing high-quality emergency medical care
- Comfortable working both independently and within a collaborative team
- Adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to patient-centered care
- Proficient in using EMR systems, particularly Epic
