This position is based onsite at a Level IV Trauma Center in Mesquite, Texas. The facility manages approximately 34,000 annual patient visits and is equipped with a robust support staff as well as full Epic EMR integration, ensuring an efficient and modern working environment. As an Emergency Medicine Physician (EM Physician), you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, fast-paced care in a community-focused setting just outside Dallas.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries
- Stabilize, diagnose, and treat patients in alignment with current standards of emergency medicine
- Utilize Epic EMR to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in trauma care in accordance with Level IV Trauma Center protocols
- Manage patient flow and prioritize care in a busy emergency department environment
- Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based emergency medicine practices
- Adhere to all medical, ethical, and legal standards set by licensing and accrediting bodies
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training as required

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Family Practice or Internal Medicine physicians with at least two years of recent emergency medicine experience considered
- Active Texas medical license preferred
- Commitment to high standards of clinical care and patient safety
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency department
