Assignments typically begin in July 2025 and span 12 months, with a minimum requirement of five shifts per month. This role is suitable for physicians board-certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM), or those with Family Medicine (ABFM) or Internal Medicine (ABIM) backgrounds and relevant emergency department experience, depending on the facility assignment.

- Active and unrestricted medical license
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) required for Marshall facility
- For Kilgore, ABEM or ABFM/ABIM with emergency experience accepted
- Alternative boards such as ABPS not accepted
- Current ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required for non-ABEM physicians
- Residency in Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine/Family Medicine with emergency experience, as applicable
- Experienced emergency medicine physician, adaptable to various clinical settings
- Strong clinical decision-making and independent practice skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
