Emergency Medicine Physician (EM, FP, IM) - Summary
- Permanent, full-time onsite role with Optigy at a critical access hospital
- Low-volume emergency department with approximately 10,000 annual visits
- Physician-only coverage with 12- or 24-hour shift options
- Well-supported team environment with 2 nurses per shift
- Access to advanced imaging and laboratory services onsite
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients presenting with a variety of acute medical conditions and injuries
- Work collaboratively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care
- Manage patient flow and coordinate timely patient transfers as needed
- Utilize the Cerner EMR system for accurate and efficient documentation
- Participate in ongoing clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current emergency medicine practices and protocols
- Engage in annual clinical assemblies and leadership development activities
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive compensation: $165/hr (W2) or $205/hr (1099)
- Sign-on bonus: $60,000

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
- Demonstrated experience in emergency medicine settings
- Current, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Ability to work 12- or 24-hour shifts in a physician-only coverage model
- Proficiency with EMR systems, preferably Cerner
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care
