Optigy is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Emergency Medicine Physician (EM/FP/IM) for a permanent, full-time position at a modern micro-hospital in Converse, located in the greater San Antonio area. This role offers the unique opportunity to be part of a brand-new facility built in 2023, designed to provide comprehensive and streamlined emergency and inpatient care. As an Emergency Medicine Physician, you will join a supportive clinical team in an environment that is equipped with advanced diagnostic technology and focused on delivering high-quality patient care around the clock.
The micro-hospital serves approximately 16,000 annual emergency department visits and offers 24/7 emergency and inpatient services. The staffing model features 12-hour shifts with physician and advanced practice provider (APP) support, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional care while maintaining a manageable work-life balance. As an Emergency Medicine Physician (EM/FP/IM), you will be responsible for evaluating and treating a wide range of acute medical conditions in patients of all ages. You will work collaboratively with other clinical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and participate actively in the facility’s commitment to continuous improvement and best practice standards. The role requires board certification or board eligibility in Emergency Medicine, or in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with substantial emergency medicine experience. Additional requirements include current certifications in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
