Optigy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medicine Physician (EM/FP/IM) to join our dynamic Emergency Department team. This permanent, full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment focused on delivering high-quality, efficient patient care through collaborative teamwork. The role is suited for professionals who are board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (EM), Family Medicine (FM), or Internal Medicine (IM) with substantial emergency department experience.
Our Emergency Department manages approximately 14,000 annual patient visits, supported by a robust coverage model and advanced practice provider (APP) support. The department features nine emergency beds, six inpatient beds, and maintains a 5% admission rate, ensuring a manageable and focused patient flow. Physicians work 12-hour shifts with 24-hour physician coverage each day, backed by comprehensive electronic documentation using Picis. This structure promotes efficiency, patient safety, and a supportive atmosphere for both new graduates and experienced clinicians.
