The hospital is recognized as a Level 3 trauma center, featuring a robust emergency department with 30 dedicated beds and an annual patient volume of 40,000. The facility comprises a total of 310 beds, ensuring comprehensive resources and support for all emergency medicine activities. Full specialty backup is consistently available, enabling seamless collaboration and support for complex cases. The emergency department is equipped with the EPIC electronic medical record system integrated with Dragon dictation, streamlining clinical documentation and patient care workflows.
As an Emergency Medicine Physician (EM, ABEM) locum tenens provider, you will be responsible for performing all standard emergency room procedures. Candidates who hold board certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM), or Internal Medicine/Family Medicine (ABIM/ABFM) with a minimum of two years’ dedicated emergency department experience, are encouraged to apply. An active state license and DEA registration in the relevant state are essential, as are current certifications in ACLS, PALS, and ATLS.
The hospital covers travel expenses for locum tenens providers, facilitating a smooth and stress-free transition for physicians joining the team.
