Emergency Medicine Physicians working in this locum tenens capacity must possess board certification in Emergency Medicine or be board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with a minimum of two years’ recent emergency department experience. Candidates must hold an active state medical license or qualify for an Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) license, along with an active DEA registration in the state or willingness to transfer. Current certifications in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are essential to ensure the highest standards of care for patients of all ages.
Shifts are typically scheduled for 12 hours, with coverage needs anticipated to be ongoing.
