As an Emergency Medicine Physician (EM, ABEM, ABIM, ABFM), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care during both day and night shifts, ensuring support for a diverse patient population. You will work alongside a robust support staff, including physician colleagues and advanced practice providers, in a well-equipped hospital setting.
The role offers a dynamic work schedule, with shifts running from 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am, and requires coverage for at least three shifts per month. The hospital utilizes the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring efficient documentation and communication across the care team. All standard emergency room procedures are expected as part of the daily duties in this role.

Emergency Medicine Physician (EM, ABEM, ABIM, ABFM) - Summary- Provide high-quality emergency care in a full-service community hospital setting.
- Work within a Level 2 trauma center with medium acuity and an annual ED volume of 47,000.
- Participate in a supportive, collaborative care environment with physicians and advanced practice providers.
- Deliver patient care during scheduled day and night shifts (7 am–7 pm or 7 pm–7 am).
- Perform all standard emergency room procedures.
- Utilize the EPIC EMR system for documentation and clinical workflows.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including 24-hour physician and 22-hour NPPA coverage daily.
- Respond to a variety of urgent and emergent patient needs as part of a dynamic team in a busy hospital environment.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and patient safety standards.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
- Participate in expedited onboarding and credentialing processes for an immediate start.

- At least two years of emergency room experience if ABIM or ABFM certified.
- Active state medical license and DEA registration (or willingness to transfer).
- Current certifications in ATLS, ACLS, and PALS.
- Ability to cover a minimum of three shifts per month (days and nights).
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
