Emergency Medicine Physician (EM, ABEM, ABIM, ABFM) – Full-Time, North Mississippi
Join a dynamic healthcare team as an Emergency Medicine Physician, where you will play a critical role in providing expert care to patients in a general and surgical hospital setting. This full-time opportunity is ideal for board-certified physicians in Emergency Medicine (EM), American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), or American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) who have at least two years of emergency medicine experience. As a nocturnist, you will cover overnight shifts, ensuring high-quality care during crucial hours in a well-equipped, Level 3 trauma center. The hospital features 32 emergency department (ED) beds, a robust annual ED volume of 33,500, and a total capacity of 400 beds, supported by a strong team of fellow physicians and advanced practice providers.
In this Emergency Medicine Physician position, you will be responsible for all standard emergency room procedures and will work collaboratively with a team consisting of daily physician and NP/PA coverage. The facility utilizes the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system to streamline patient care and documentation. Qualified candidates must possess an active Mississippi state medical license, a current DEA registration in Mississippi or willingness to transfer, and up-to-date ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Emergency Medicine Physician (EM, ABEM, ABIM, ABFM) – Summary- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care as a nocturnist at a Level 3 trauma center
- Work in a 32-bed emergency department within a 400-bed hospital
