- Work in a busy, modern, and well-supported emergency department with a strong interdisciplinary team.
- Level 3 trauma center with 45 ED beds and 5 triage rooms.
- Utilize advanced EMR (EPIC) and benefit from expedited onboarding processes.
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based emergency medical care for diverse patient populations.
- Perform all standard emergency room procedures and manage acute medical and surgical emergencies.
- Collaborate with support staff including Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants.
- Work in coordination with specialty backup providers in surgery, neurology, cardiology, OB/GYN, and orthopedics.
- Utilize EMR system (EPIC) for comprehensive documentation and care coordination.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement efforts and adhere to hospital policies and protocols.

- MD or DO with board certification in Emergency Medicine (EM), or board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with at least 2 years of Emergency Department experience.
- Active state medical license and DEA registration, or willingness to transfer credentials as needed.
- Certification in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required.
- Experience working in a Level 3 trauma center or similar acute care setting is strongly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician (EM) with a passion for acute care.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high patient volumes and complex cases efficiently.
- Flexible regarding shift assignments and able to adapt to varying schedules.
- Collaborative approach to patient care, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.

- Annual emergency department volume: 40,000 visits with an average of 32 daily encounters.
- Approximately 30% admission rate, with 33% of patients arriving via EMS and 3% transferred to other facilities.
- Shifts available: 7a-7p, 3p-1a, 7p-7a for physicians; multiple shift options for NP/PA support.
- Credentialing process is streamlined for a quick start, with an ideal onboarding timeline aiming for immediate placement.
