Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based emergency medical care for diverse patient populations.
- Perform all standard emergency room procedures and manage acute medical and surgical emergencies.
- Collaborate with support staff including Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants.
- Work in coordination with specialty backup providers in surgery, neurology, cardiology, OB/GYN, and orthopedics.
- Utilize EMR system (EPIC) for comprehensive documentation and care coordination.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement efforts and adhere to hospital policies and protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO with board certification in Emergency Medicine (EM), or board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with at least 2 years of Emergency Department experience.
- Active state medical license and DEA registration, or willingness to transfer credentials as needed.
- Certification in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required.
- Experience working in a Level 3 trauma center or similar acute care setting is strongly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
