Emergency Medicine Physician (EM) – Full-Time Opportunity
Optigy is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician (EM) to join a leading tertiary care healthcare facility in Tulsa, OK. This position offers a permanent, full-time opportunity to provide advanced emergency medical care in a modern, high-acuity environment. The facility is equipped with a newly constructed 68,000 square foot Trauma Emergency Center, a distinct Pediatric Emergency Center, and a dedicated Observation Unit. As an Emergency Medicine Physician (EM), you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive emergency services, teaching future clinicians, and collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams.
You will be part of a trauma-designated Level II center handling over 71,000 annual emergency department visits, with an additional 34,000 pediatric emergency cases and 6,000 observation admissions each year. The facility is designed to support both practicing and academic medicine, featuring state-of-the-art technology, Epic EMR, and specialized support services around the clock. With robust support from hospitalist, OB/GYN, general surgery, and trauma surgery teams, this Emergency Medicine Physician (EM) role promises a dynamic and supportive clinical environment.
In the Pediatric Emergency Center, you will have access to 23 treatment rooms, specialized pediatric emergency medicine colleagues, and 24/7 NICU and PICU coverage. The Trauma Emergency Center is equipped with 4 trauma bays, 12 critical care rooms, 32 general monitored rooms (including 4 for psychiatric care), 5 triage stations, 7 fast track bays, a dedicated decontamination room, advanced radiology and CT suites, and rooftop helipads. The center is also designed for rapid mass casualty response. The admission rate in the Trauma Emergency Center is approximately 40%, while the Pediatric Emergency Department admits nearly 19% of its patients.

- Board certification or board eligibility in Emergency Medicine
