The Emergency Medicine Physician (EM) must hold an active Georgia medical license and DEA registration, along with current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS. Board certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) or Family/Internal Medicine (ABFM/ABIM or osteopathic equivalents) with relevant emergency department experience is required. The role requires a commitment of at least five shifts per month, with flexibility to cover both day and night shifts as needed. Physicians must maintain a clean professional file for credentialing and be comfortable working in a high-volume, non-trauma facility that serves approximately 29,800 annual ED visits.
