The Emergency Department is part of a comprehensive medical campus and serves as a certified stroke and chest pain center, providing robust specialty backup, forward-thinking leadership, and a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) team. The Emergency Medicine Physician (EM) will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a bustling Emergency Department that sees approximately 54,000 annual visits. The facility features 51 dedicated ED beds and is designed to handle a patient flow of about 2 patients per hour. With an 18% admission rate, the department operates with a collaborative coverage model, utilizing 10-hour physician shifts and significant daily support from NPs and PAs. The ED is fully equipped with Epic EMR, ensuring streamlined documentation and communication for optimal patient outcomes. As a certified stroke and chest pain center, the department is recognized for its excellence in emergency care and rapid response capabilities.
