Candidates must be residency trained in Emergency Medicine or a relevant specialty and possess current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS. Additionally, relevant documentation such as CME records, recent case logs, diplomas, training certificates, and compliance with TB/Flu immunization are necessary for credentialing. Annual completion of nine hours each in Stroke and Trauma CME is also required, with variations for ABEM physicians regarding ATLS certification.
