Emergency Medicine Physician (EM) – Summary- Serve as a frontline provider for patients requiring urgent and emergent care in a hospital emergency department setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
- Utilize advanced diagnostic and therapeutic skills to manage a wide spectrum of medical emergencies
- Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the emergency medicine department
- Conduct timely patient assessments and provide rapid, effective treatment for a variety of acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies
- Stabilize patients and initiate appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
- Consult with specialists and coordinate patient care with nursing and allied health professionals
- Document all patient encounters in accordance with hospital policies and legal requirements
- Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing professional development
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and follow-up care
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and accreditation standards

- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine (EM)
- Valid and unrestricted state medical license
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
- Demonstrated expertise and experience in emergency medicine clinical practice
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proactive and adaptable physician who thrives in high-pressure environments
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to make critical decisions rapidly
