Emergency Medicine Physician (EM) – Summary
- Join a leading tertiary care facility with a new, state-of-the-art 68,000 sq. ft. emergency department.
- Collaborate within an academic setting alongside EM, pediatrics, and family medicine residents, plus PA students.
- Care for high-acuity adult and pediatric patients in both trauma and general emergency care settings.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency care to a diverse patient population in a Level II Trauma Center.
- Manage high patient volumes, including 71,000 annual adult ED visits, 34,000 pediatric ED visits, and 6,000 observation unit visits.
- Utilize Epic EMR and electronic tracking systems to document and coordinate care efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including hospitalists, OB/GYN, general and trauma surgery, and subspecialists.
- Participate in clinical teaching and educational activities for residents and students.
- Respond to trauma and critical care situations utilizing advanced emergency department resources (trauma bays, critical care rooms, fast track bays, CT suites, radiology rooms, helipads, and decontamination facilities).
- Engage in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Support the organization’s mission of delivering high-quality, patient-focused emergency care.
Salary & Benefits
- Base compensation starting at $256/hr (W2) and $296/hr (1099).
- Sign-on bonus up to $90,000.
- Annual CME/BEA allowance of $4,000 (tax-free).
- New graduate package includes $6,500 plus licensing costs (state and DEA) in the first year.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
- Active or eligible for unrestricted medical licensure.
- Eligibility for J-1 Visa and H1B Cap Exempt status.
- Previous experience or strong interest in academic and high-acuity emergency care environments preferred.
