Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform all standard ER procedures consistent with emergency medicine practice
- Manage acute illnesses and injuries for a diverse patient population
- Collaborate with on-site subspecialty teams for coordinated patient care
- Supervise and work alongside nurse practitioners and physician assistants during scheduled hours
- Document patient encounters accurately using EPIC EMR
- Stabilize patients and facilitate safe transfers for severe trauma cases
- Participate in shift coverage including days, mids, and nights, with variable weekday and weekend hours
- Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications & Requirements
- ABEM board certification required
- Active state medical license (or willingness to obtain)
- Current DEA and CDS registration (or willingness to transfer)
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Experience in emergency medicine settings, including trauma stabilization and transfer
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR preferred
