- Provide full-scope emergency medical care to patients in a high-volume emergency department
- Work collaboratively with other physicians, APPs, nurses, and support staff to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Respond to emergent situations rapidly and effectively, utilizing advanced clinical knowledge and skills
- Perform necessary diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within scope of practice
- Document medical histories, examination findings, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and promptly
- Participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives as needed
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, regulatory standards, and best practices for emergency care

- Family Practice or Internal Medicine physicians must have at least 3 years of emergency department experience
- Active medical license and controlled substance registration in the state of Missouri
- Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications
- DEA license and valid driver’s license
- Recent flu and TB screening (within the last 12 months)
- Completion of accredited residency in relevant specialty
- Up-to-date continuing medical education (CME) records from the past two years
- Availability of case and procedure logs as required
- Experienced Emergency Medicine Physician (ABEM) with a strong commitment to patient care
- Comfortable working night shifts and flexible schedules
- Skilled in managing a wide range of emergent medical conditions in a high-volume setting
- Collaborative, communicative, and adaptable to a multidisciplinary team environment
- Detail-oriented with exemplary documentation and organizational skills
- Proactive in maintaining all necessary certifications and licensure
- The assignment runs from June 1, 2025, through October 31, 2025, with multiple shift options (7a–7p, 1p–11p, 7p–7a), and a strong preference for night shifts
- Annual emergency department volume is approximately 37,000
