Working in a facility with an annual emergency department volume of approximately 22,000 and an average of 65 patients per day, the EM NP/PA will be integral in supporting patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

As an EM NP/PA, you will provide comprehensive patient care during scheduled 12-hour shifts, ensuring high-quality clinical outcomes. The facility features 281 hospital beds, including 16 dedicated to the emergency department, a wide range of specialty services, and a high admission rate coupled with a low transfer rate, reflecting the robust resources available.

Responsibilities include direct patient assessment, management of acute and chronic conditions, and coordination with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Previous experience in emergency medicine as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant is essential, and candidates must hold Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certifications.
