Emergency Medicine NP/PA - Summary- Provide high-quality emergency care in a Level 3 trauma center and acute care hospital environment
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of urgent and emergent medical conditions in the Emergency Department
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary emergency team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Utilize advanced EMR (EPIC with Dragon) for efficient patient documentation and care management
- Participate in ongoing coverage needs with flexible shift options
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments upon arrival to the Emergency Department
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to guide treatment decisions
- Perform all standard emergency room procedures as required
- Initiate and manage treatment plans for a wide range of acute medical and trauma cases
- Coordinate care with specialty backup and other healthcare professionals as needed
- Document all patient encounters accurately using hospital EMR systems
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, policies, and best practices in emergency medicine
