Applicants for the Emergency Medicine NP/PA position must have a minimum of one year of recent experience in an emergency room setting and hold valid board certification. A current state license and DEA registration (or willingness to transfer) are required, as are certifications in ATLS, ACLS, and PALS. The hospital utilizes the Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system, and all standard emergency room procedures are expected as part of the routine responsibilities. Support is robust, with 24-hour physician coverage and 12-hour NP/PA coverage daily, ensuring a collaborative and safe environment for both patients and staff. Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (EM NP/PA) - Summary- Provide emergency medical care as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in a full-service community hospital.
