As an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), you will provide direct clinical care to patients presenting to the emergency department, ensuring timely and effective evaluation, diagnosis, and management. The emergency department averages approximately 13,000 annual visits, offering providers a robust clinical environment without the demands of trauma-level care. Shifts are structured to offer flexibility, with both day and night coverage needed (7am–7pm or 7pm–7am). Daily overtime is available after 12 hours, and weekly overtime accrues after 168 hours, providing opportunities for those seeking additional clinical experience or compensation.
