As an Electrophysiology Technologist (EP Tech), your primary responsibility will be to provide expert technical support during diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures. You will operate and maintain state-of-the-art EP equipment, ensuring the highest levels of patient safety and care across all age groups. Working closely with a multidisciplinary cardiac team, you will contribute to successful device implantations and complex mapping procedures while demonstrating strong knowledge of ECG, cardiac simulators, Mac-Lab systems, and advanced endocardial mapping technologies such as Biosense Webster.
Your daily tasks will include pre- and post-procedure preparation, efficient inventory management, and meticulous equipment setup. You will be expected to scrub in and assist with pacemaker and ICD implants, as well as independently manage technical components of each case. Experience working with pediatric patients and holding a PALS certification will enable you to provide specialized care to younger populations.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience as an EP Tech, a degree from an accredited Electrophysiology Technology program, and current certifications including ARRT, RCIS or RCES, BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Proficiency in using advanced cardiac technology and experience in both adult and pediatric electrophysiology settings will be highly valued in this role.
