Electronics Test Technician
The Electronics Test Technician plays a vital role in the setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. This position is responsible for interpreting blueprints, drawings, and diagrams to determine and develop test specifications, methods, and procedures. The Electronics Test Technician performs both sub-assembly and system-level functional testing, diagnosing issues down to the component level for both analog and digital assemblies. Additionally, the technician prepares comprehensive technical reports summarizing findings and offering recommendations for technical solutions. The role may also include assisting in the selection and setup of specialized test equipment, ensuring that all processes are performed to the highest standard.
Professionals in this role work on assignments that are semi-routine, requiring occasional deviation from standard procedures. While established processes guide most tasks, instructions may be necessary for new assignments.
