Electromechanical Test Technician - Summary
- Responsible for the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex electronic and mechanical assemblies.
- Develops and follows test specifications, methods, and procedures based on blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings.
- Collaborates with engineering teams to implement process improvements and enhance failure analysis techniques.
- Prepares technical reports detailing findings and recommending solutions to technical challenges.
- Assists in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment and supports the design of cost-effective test methods.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform set-up, calibration, and comprehensive testing of circuits, components, and mechanical assemblies.
- Troubleshoot assemblies and final systems, identifying root causes for failures and malfunctions.
- Read and interpret electronic schematics and assembly drawings to guide testing and troubleshooting procedures.
- Develop and refine test processes, methods, and equipment to improve efficiency and accuracy in failure analysis.
- Document and summarize test results, clearly communicating technical findings and recommendations.
- Coordinate with engineers to design, implement, and optimize test strategies and troubleshooting approaches.
- Conduct rework and repairs on assemblies or systems as needed, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Assist in the selection and configuration of specialized test equipment to support technical operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements to testing and troubleshooting protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements
