Electromechanical Technician (EMT) - Summary
- Serve as a key technical resource for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of electromechanical systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure machinery and equipment meet operational standards.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for production processes and automated systems.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting on integrated electromechanical systems to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance for production machinery and test equipment, ensuring consistent performance.
- Assemble, integrate, and calibrate mechanical and electrical components in accordance with engineering specifications.
- Conduct comprehensive electrical testing and diagnostics, including continuity, voltage, and current measurements.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate assembly, repair, and modification.
- Implement and maintain PLC programming for automated systems, making necessary adjustments and debugging code.
- Maintain and service robotics, including programming adjustments, repair, and calibration.
- Calibrate and adjust equipment and instrumentation to maintain stringent operational standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure reliability and safety.
- Document all activities related to maintenance, calibration, and repairs in both physical and digital logs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on equipment installation, upgrades, and process improvement projects.
- Mentor junior technicians and contribute to a culture of ongoing learning and technical excellence.

Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in electromechanical systems maintenance and repair.
- Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting electromechanical systems.
- Strong foundational knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles.
- Ability to read and interpret complex schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
- Experience with preventive maintenance methods and best practices.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Understanding of safety protocols in industrial environments, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
