Electromechanical Assembly Technician

As an Electromechanical Assembly Technician, you will play a pivotal role in the assembly, troubleshooting, and optimization of advanced electromechanical systems and components. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of complex assembly operations, working with both electronic and mechanical subsystems. The position requires a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and precision during the manufacturing process.

The Electromechanical Assembly Technician will follow established methods and sequences of operations, ensuring each stage of the assembly adheres to strict quality standards. This includes tasks such as wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on various assembly units. You will be expected to make precise setups and adjustments, holding tolerances according to blueprint and schematic specifications, to ensure the finished systems meet all required standards.

In this role, you will also conduct real-time, in-process failure analysis. This process involves evaluating the electrical and mechanical characteristics of complex systems, integrated circuits, components, sub-components, and complete assemblies to determine the root cause of any malfunctions or failures. Once issues are identified, you will be responsible for taking immediate corrective actions to restore functionality and maintain continuous workflow. In addition, you will be encouraged to develop and refine methods, processes, procedures, and tools that improve failure analysis and reduce the rate of recurring failures, contributing directly to productivity and quality improvements within the organization.

Your day-to-day work as an Electromechanical Assembly Technician will be hands-on, requiring a strong understanding of both electronic and mechanical assembly techniques. You will utilize hand tools, soldering equipment, and diagnostic instruments while working closely with engineering and quality assurance teams to ensure all assembled products meet internal and external standards for reliability and performance.

Those who succeed in this position are detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized, with a strong safety focus and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in electromechanical assembly, a working knowledge of blueprint reading, and a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex systems. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a challenging, rewarding career path in advanced manufacturing, where your technical expertise will directly impact the quality and reliability of cutting-edge products.
