We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team. As an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you will work with precision and care on pre-production projects, ensuring all assemblies meet the required specifications and quality standards. You will be responsible for interpreting technical documents such as rough schematics and blueprints to accurately construct developmental assemblies. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work with various hand and power tools, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workspace. The position offers the chance to collaborate with other team members while actively contributing ideas for process improvements in your working area.
Key aspects of the role include assembling fan units (such as Novenco Fans) to sheet metal components, utilizing cranes and a range of hardware and tools including drills, screws, and nuts. Your ability to handle material handling equipment and operate hand and power tools safely and effectively is crucial. You will also be responsible for adhering to safety protocols and quality standards throughout the assembly process.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of relevant production or technical experience, a high school diploma, and preferably some college coursework. Physical stamina is important, as the position requires standing for extended periods and lifting or pushing up to 20 pounds. Strong communication skills in English are essential for understanding instructions and collaborating with team members. Successful candidates will also demonstrate proficiency in using electric drivers and other hand tools, the ability to read and interpret prints and drawings, and the capacity to multitask and prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines under supervision.
