Electrical Project Manager Position OverviewTriStarr's client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team. As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing industrial and commercial electrical projects from their initial planning stages through to completion. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, collaborating closely with both clients and project teams to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of project schedules, budgets, and safety requirements to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards.
- Provide routine updates regarding project progress, quality, and adherence to established timelines to key stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Oversee project handoffs and review all job documents to monitor profitability and performance metrics throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain project scope, address issues, and implement any necessary changes.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and client specifications on all assigned projects.
- Attend and actively participate in job meetings, make informed technical decisions, and oversee procurement of materials, permit acquisition, and documentation processes.
- Lead post-project debriefs and maintain comprehensive, accurate records for all completed projects.
- Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), electrical system design, and control layout for both industrial and commercial settings.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with proven abilities in estimating and project coordination.
- Hands-on experience with MS Office Suite and estimating software; familiarity with contract documents and AutoCAD is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required for travel to various project sites as necessary.
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, and walk, and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds during the course of project management duties.
- Master Electrician certification with a minimum of 5 years of project management experience and at least 10 years working in industrial or commercial electrical environments.
