Electrical Engineer PE – Summary- Full-time opportunity for a licensed Electrical Engineer PE in San Diego, CA
- Lead all phases of electrical engineering design, from pre-design to construction administration

- Perform field surveys and site assessments for electrical system design
- Prepare electrical schematic designs and single line diagrams
- Conduct electrical calculations including arc flash, coordination, short circuit, voltage drop, and load flow using ETAP/SKM
- Select appropriate lighting fixtures and power equipment
- Design lighting and power circuiting, and coordinate lighting control systems
- Prepare fire alarm device layouts, riser diagrams, calculations, and sequence of operations in compliance with International Fire Code and NFPA 72
- Develop enlarged plans, elevations, schedules, and project details
- Apply CAD/BIM standards in all design work
- Utilize knowledge of California Electrical Code and Energy Standards for medium and low voltage system design
- Collaborate with mechanical, plumbing, telecom, civil, structural, and architectural teams
- Edit and manage project specifications
- Manage multiple large-scale projects and mentor junior engineers
- Independently prepare client proposals and support business development
- Oversee construction administration, including review of RFIs, equipment submittals, and punch lists
