Electrical Engineer (EE) - Summary
- Lead and execute the electrical engineering scope for large-scale capital projects in manufacturing environments.
- Develop and modify electrical schematics and layouts using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.
- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC systems, particularly Siemens platforms, to ensure efficient equipment operation.
- Manage power distribution, cable tray design, controls, and field commissioning tasks.
- Modify OEM logic and implement safety PLC logic for equipment retrofits and upgrades, including European equipment.
- Provide oversight and management for contractors involved in major manufacturing expansion projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the electrical scope for new construction, retrofits, and expansion projects within manufacturing settings.
- Create, modify, and review detailed electrical drawings and diagrams using industry-standard software.
- Support the installation and commissioning of manufacturing equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs for automation systems, focusing on optimizing performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate project milestones and ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage contractor activities and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to power distribution, controls, and equipment logic.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale capital projects with a focus on electrical systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and PLC programming (Siemens preferred).
- Hands-on experience with equipment installation, power distribution, and field commissioning.
- Ability to modify OEM logic and implement safety PLC logic, particularly for European-sourced equipment.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
