We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer (EE) to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis in San Diego, CA. As an Electrical Engineer (EE), you will play a vital role in supporting innovative projects and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and preparation of electrical designs and documentation for a variety of projects under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure project goals, schedules, and budgets are met.
- Utilize industry-standard software, including AutoCAD and Revit MEP, to develop electrical design drawings and models.
- Support the preparation of single-line diagrams, load calculations, and equipment layouts for building electrical systems.
- Contribute to the review and analysis of electrical systems using ETAP or SKM as needed.
- Participate in internal design reviews, quality assurance processes, and coordination meetings with other engineering disciplines.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all documentation and project deliverables.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices relevant to electrical engineering and design.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field is required for this Electrical Engineer (EE) position in San Diego, CA.
- 0-3 years of professional experience in electrical design, ideally within a consulting or engineering firm environment.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and familiarity with Revit MEP for electrical drafting and modeling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Involvement with IEEE or similar professional engineering organizations is a plus.
- Experience working with ETAP or SKM for electrical system analysis and design is desirable.
