Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of electrical power distribution systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Assist with the preparation of construction documents and electrical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
- Contribute to the selection of materials and equipment for electrical systems.
- Perform calculations and analyses, including load calculations and short-circuit studies, utilizing industry-standard tools such as ETAP and SKM.
- Participate in project meetings to coordinate with mechanical, architectural, and other engineering disciplines.
- Help ensure that all designs and installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Communicate technical information clearly and effectively to team members and project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering field is required.
- 0-3 years of experience in electrical design, ideally within the building or construction industry.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and familiarity with Revit MEP are preferred for preparing technical drawings.
- Experience with electrical analysis software such as ETAP or SKM is considered a plus.
- Active involvement or association with IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and teamwork skills are essential for success in this electrical engineer (EE) position.
